³⁶For you need perseverance so that, after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise. ³⁷For yet

“in a very little while,^[a]
    the Coming One will come,
    and He will not delay.^[b]
³⁸But My righteous one shall live by emunah;
    and if he shrinks back,
    My soul takes no pleasure in him.”^[c]
